Shanika attends the London premiere of the highly anticipated British film The Critic, in which she portrays the role of Zanche. She stars alongside Sir Ian McKellen, Gemma Arterton, and Alfred Enoch. The Critic will be released in UK cinemas on September 13th 2024.
Shanika stars in the comedy theatre production “The Dating Diary,” playing Laura, the confident and outgoing best friend of the main character Amelia (Melissa Jessica Amer). The play, set in North London, is all about Amelia’s struggle to find love, showcasing the best and worst parts of dating as a millennial. The production received rave reviews from notable publications for its relatable themes and engaging performances.
The American psychological fan-favourite thriller is back for a new season with Joe Goldberg finding himself in Europe. Shanika can be seen in episode 4 “Hampsie” as one of Tilly’s weekend getaway guests.
Shanika stars as “Younger Cethlenn” in episode 2 of the prequel to Netflix’s hit show The Witcher. Set in an elven world 1,200 years before the world of The Witcher, Blood Origin tells a story lost to time. All episodes are now available to stream on Netflix.
Starring David Tennant, ITV’s 4-part true crime story of the determined Scotland Yard Officers who worked to prove who was responsible for the death of Alexander Litvinenko, in one of the most complex and dangerous investigations in the history of the Metropolitan Police.
